Success Story: Rising Above Clutter



I am often the first to tell clients that advertising by itself doesn’t work as any successful approach will have a well thought out multi-pronged approach. However, in industries such as real estate, where advertising is both required and expected by clients, the landscape is cluttered with competitors usually using cookie cutter solutions.

Having seen the real estate market cool in recent months, our client in the Nevada area of Lake Tahoe had one of ten condominiums for sale in a single development. Many of them advertised in the same local paper, even on the same page. I’m happy to say that our non-cookie cutter approach to marketing her property garnered the one single call of a motivated buyer that made an offer.

As a result of the effort, which was followed up by a mailer touting her success to additional condo owners, our client will probably receive additional listings for the development.
